Dr. Basil Awawdeh has a solid academic background and completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Magna Cum Laude honors from Cleveland State University. His passion for podiatry led him to pursue a Doctorate from the esteemed Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in the class of 2017.
His thirst for knowledge and excellence didn't stop there. Dr. Awawdeh specialized further at the New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital from 2017 to 2020. Here, he gained substantial experience in a Level II trauma setting, honing his skills in podiatric surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and extensive wound care, catering to inpatients and outpatients. With its added credentials in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery, this residency has significantly broadened his expertise in the field.

His volunteer work includes offering specialized foot care at events such as the Leave No Trace ½ Marathon and the Burning River 100 Mile Race in Cleveland. Moreover, he dedicated over 100 hours to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, providing invaluable emotional support to hospitalized patients and their families.
