Dr. Samra grew up on Long Island, NY, receiving a B.S. in Public Health from Stony Brook University with additional minors in Anthropology, Writing, and Rhetoric. She completed four years of podiatry medical school at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Illinois 2020. During her education, she was active in volunteering at diabetic outreach programs.
Dr. Samra completed a three-year residency program in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Corewell Health Trenton in Michigan with a Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery credential in 2023. During her senior year, she served as Chief Resident.
While in residency, she was exposed to and participated in all aspects of podiatric medicine, trauma, and advanced Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery. During this time, she enhanced her medical education by attending internal fixation, external fixation, and arthroscopy courses.
She is an empathetic physician who will work with each patient to establish a treatment plan best suited to their specific needs. She believes strongly in the importance of providing better patient education and increasing the participation of patients in their care.
